So I bought a GTA SA from steam because I am a fan of gta series but never tried SA so I am really curious to see whats happening there since it is the legendary game and probably the best one in the series. The problem is when I'm entering the game the mouse is not working, I cant move my camera gta san andreas mouse not working i know this has been said alot of times, but the problem is that nothing i have tried has worked, the things i have tried are: using task manager to only use 1 GPU, setting the game to windows '98, and resetting, downloading DINPUT.dll and nothing works, please help

I am with you, mouse was working then i changed the vertical setting and now it doesnt work, even with the controller. Banged_my_toe_again. • 4 yr. ago. Yup same problem and I've read a lot of comments about it, I tried most 'solutions' but none seem to work.
I tried every solution on every video on youtube. I changed Windows Compatibility, I changed the affinity in the administrator, I installed dinput8.dll and I also tried pressing ESC while moving the mouse see if it gets fixed but it won't. I literally tried every possible solution to get the mouse work but it simply won't.
In the original PS2 GTA San Andreas you have 3 running speeds. Jog, run, and sprint. To jog, hold the stick forward full tilt. To run, hold the stick forward and hold X. To sprint, hold the stick forward and tap x. THIS DOESNT EXIST IN THE DEFINITIVE EDITION. Your only option is jog or run. The sprint simply doesn't exist anymore.

If you're looking to use a modern controller (XBOX 360, PS4, etc.) use this mod to enable it. If it's an older controller it should work without that mod. Switch to Classic Controls in the controls menu. Standard is meant for keyboard and mouse. Camera controls are old-fashioned in Vice City. You can't look around with the right analog stick k7fo.
