Tempest Support - Scepter Catalyst - Catalyst is currently the #1 most oppressive build in conquest, easily. I mean we can go into all kinds of debate about how to build these builds correctly, but in a nutshell, that is what you are looking at in current patching for which archetypes have the best performance. 1. 1. Necro and rangers are pretty easy with their pets. guardian is the better verison of warrior. thief is squishy, mesmers can be complicated and elementalists are sqhishy but once you learn how to dodge dmg you might enjoy full range and pulsing aoe dps. For Spvp - guardian, necro , ranger. For WvW - guardian, necro, elementalist. Curse necro can run AP-MoP and mark targets for the ranger. This is probably the most fun active combination within the constraints you've given. Blood necro can run Orders, GDW, and probably resto. ER ele can run GDW. 3. HypatiaRising. Easy burst. Go practice on the golems. Build up life force and then go into shroud for the burst. It can teach some great pvp skills if you find you love the game mode. You will learn not to die. You can swing so many team fights as a reaper, but only if you are alive to win them. You will learn rotation. Not the best setup, there are cooldowns that do better jobs and minion actives are useful but you can pretty much use 3 buttons when on GS, can swap to axe and click 2 buttons to increase life force, F1 and just use Reaper 4 and 1. Reaper 1 is insane damage. Staff Daredevil damage is mostly from Staff 2 and autoattack chain. One of the most common questions new players ask for help picking out a class to play.
